Guests must at least 21 years old to wager at WarHorse Casino, including the sportsbook.
What are the hours of operation?
WarHorse Sportsbook is open M-F from 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM and Sat/Sun 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM. Hours may vary due to current sports seasons or business demand. Sportsbook wagers are accepted at our kiosks 24/7. If the sportsbook is closed, guests may redeem sportsbook tickets at the Casino Cage.
Is there a minimum bet amount?
The minimum sportsbook wager is $5.
Are there betting limits?
Maximum bets vary according to the specific sport being wagered. See House Rules – Betting Limits for more information.
What is the maximum amount I can win?
The maximum payout amount is $50,000.
What forms of payment are acceptable to place a bet?
Bets can only be placed using cash.
Do winning tickets ever expire?
Winning tickets are valid for 90 days after the event concludes.
Are sportsbook winnings taxable?
Winnings are subject to IRS reporting and withholding rules, if applicable. Individual winning tickets that are at least $600 and have payout odds over 300/1 are taxable and will be processed with a W2G.
Can I place a bet or redeem a winning bet for another person?
No, proxy betting is prohibited.
Can I place a bet on Nebraska-based college sports teams?
As defined in Nebraska Statute 9-1103 - a wager may not be placed on a pro or collegiate Nebraskan team or athlete while they are playing in the state of Nebraska. A wager may be placed on a Nebraskan team when they play outside the state of Nebraska.
Can a winning ticket be redeemed via mail?
Winning tickets may only be redeemed in person.
Can I bet from anywhere in Nebraska via an app?
Current Nebraska regulation requires sports bets to be placed in person at the casino. Through the WarHorse Casino app, guests can view live odds and build a bet ahead of time, then save that bet to be placed in person at the casino.
Can a WarHorse Rewards Card be used in the sportsbook?
Sports bettors are encouraged to sign up for a free WarHorse Rewards card to take advantage of offers and promotions. Currently, sports wagers do not earn points in the WarHorse Rewards program, but may in the future.
Do I need to show identification to place a sports bet?
Any guest that appears under the age of 21 may be asked to show a valid ID.
Will the WarHorse Sportsbook broadcast Pay-Per-View events like UFC and Boxing?
Wagers are accepted on these events, but Pay-Per-View events may not always be broadcast at WarHorse Casino.
